How to Use uSpeedo Templates
Creating professional, visually engaging emails doesn't require starting from scratch every time. uSpeedo Templates provide a streamlined way to design high-converting emails, whether you are sending a simple verification code or a complex holiday marketing campaign.
Within uSpeedo, templates are organized into two primary categories: uSpeedo Templates and Saved Templates.
1. Understanding Template Types
To help you work more efficiently, uSpeedo categorizes templates based on their source and purpose:
uSpeedo Templates (Pre-designed)
These are ready-to-use layouts provided by the uSpeedo Design team. They are designed to help you quickly launch polished emails without needing design skills.
- Purpose: Speed up the creation process and provide inspiration for professional layouts.
- Variety: Covers multiple industries and use cases, including OTP (One-Time Password) verification, seasonal promotions, and transactional notifications.
Saved Templates (Custom)
These are your personal library of templates. This section houses any design you have built, modified, or imported yourself.
- Purpose: Ensure brand consistency and allow for the easy reuse of successful past campaigns.
- Flexibility: You can create these from scratch, save a modified uSpeedo template, or import custom HTML code from third-party tools.
2. How to Use and Customize Templates
Using a uSpeedo Template
- Navigate to Templates: From your uSpeedo dashboard, go to the Templates section and select uSpeedo Templates.
- Browse Categories: Use the category filters (e.g., Holiday Promotion, Notification) to find a design that fits your needs.
- Preview & Select: Click on a template to preview how it looks on mobile and desktop. Click Create Email or Create Template to open it in the editor.
- Edit & Send: Modify the text, images, and links to match your brand. Once satisfied, you can send it immediately or save it to your "Saved Templates."
Creating or Importing Saved Templates
Access Saved Templates: Go to the Saved Templates tab.
Choose Your Method:
- Create New: Use the uSpeedo drag-and-drop editor to build a layout from scratch.
- Import HTML: If you have a template designed in another platform, click Import and paste your HTML code directly into uSpeedo.
Save & Name: Give your template a clear, descriptive name (e.g.,
2024_Welcome_Email_V1) so your team can easily find it later.
3. Tips & Best Practices
- Test Before You Send: Always send a test email to yourself to ensure that the template renders correctly across different email clients (like Gmail or Outlook).
- Keep Branding Consistent: When modifying uSpeedo Templates, ensure you update the logo, brand colors, and social media links to maintain a professional look.
- Use Placeholders: For transactional emails (like verification codes), ensure you use the correct variables/tags so the system can automatically populate the user's specific data.
- Optimize for Mobile: Most users read emails on their phones. Keep your call-to-action (CTA) buttons large and easy to tap.
