Email Pricing
Overview
uSpeedo Email Sending service adopts a Monthly Progressive Tier Pricing model with Tier Carry-Over, where:
- Pricing is based on monthly email sending volume
- Usage is billed incrementally across defined pricing tiers
- Each new billing cycle inherits the pricing tier achieved in the previous month
Pricing Tiers for Sending Emails
All pricing shown here is calculated per 1,000 emails sent (USD); when each email is sent, the charge will be calculated as the price divided by 1,000.

Billing Model
Progressive (Tiered) Pricing
Email usage within a billing cycle is billed using a progressive tier model, where each usage segment is charged at its corresponding tier rate.
- Pricing tiers are applied sequentially as usage increases
- Each portion of usage is billed independently at its tier price
- There is no retroactive repricing of previously billed usage
Billing Cycle
- Billing is calculated on a calendar month basis (UTC)
- Usage is accumulated in real time
- Charges are finalized at the end of each billing cycle
Tier Carry-Over Mechanism
Starting from the second billing cycle, pricing will inherit the tier achieved in the previous month, referred to as the Starting Tier.
Rules
The total volume sent in the previous calendar month determines the Starting Tier of this month
In the new month:
- All usage up to the upper bound of the Starting Tier is billed at that tier’s unit price
- Once usage exceeds that threshold, pricing continues progressively into higher tiers
📒 Example
If a customer sends 1,200,000 emails in Month 1, they fall into:
→ Tier: 1,000,000 – 1,999,999 ($0.27)
Month 2 Billing:
- First 1,999,999 emails → billed at $0.27
- 2,000,000 – 4,999,999 → billed at $0.24
- ≥ 5,000,000 → lower price
👉 Earlier lower tiers (e.g., $0.35 / $0.32 / $0.30) are skipped, ensuring customers receive the better price.
First Month Exception
- In the first billing cycle where no previous billing month exists, all customers start from the base tier (lowest volume tier)
- Standard progressive pricing applies from the beginning
Payments
Prepaid Only
- The service operates on a prepaid billing model only
- Usage charges are deducted in real time from the available balance / credits

Refund Policy
- All charges are final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified
- Promotional credits, if issued, are non-withdrawable and non-transferable
Enterprise & Custom Pricing
For customers with high or predictable volume:
Custom pricing agreements are available
Volume commitments may provide:
- Lower fixed rates
- SLA guarantees
- Dedicated infrastructure options

Billable Events
Included in Billing
Emails are considered billable when:
- The send request is successfully accepted by the system (accepted for processing)
Once accepted:
Emails are billed regardless of final delivery outcome, including:
- Sent
- Delivered
- Bounced
- Blocked
- Temporary Issued
Excluded from Billing
The following are not billed:
- Emails that fail due to system-side errors or service failures
- Requests rejected before acceptance (e.g., invalid API request)
